Article Processing Charges / Publication Fees Policy

Qurina Scientific Journal (QSJ) charges a publication fee for manuscripts accepted for publication. The fee contributes to the costs associated with journal administration, editorial processing, peer review, production, and electronic publication.

Publication Fee

The publication fee for an accepted article is:

USD 60 (Sixty US Dollars)

or approximately:

LYD 550 (Five Hundred and Fifty Libyan Dinars).

The publication fee applies to manuscripts that have been accepted for publication following the journal's editorial and peer-review processes.

Payment Conditions

  1. The publication fee is not charged at the time of manuscript submission or at the beginning of the peer-review process. It is requested only after the manuscript has received a final acceptance decision.
  2. Payment of the publication fee does not guarantee acceptance or publication of a manuscript.
  3. All manuscripts are subject to the journal's editorial assessment and peer-review procedures regardless of the authors' ability to pay the publication fee.
  4. The payment of publication fees does not influence editorial decisions or peer-review outcomes.
  5. Authors are responsible for paying the publication fee after acceptance in accordance with the payment method specified by the journal.
  6. The publication fee does not include any additional costs arising from special services requested by authors unless explicitly stated by the journal.
  7. For manuscripts with multiple authors, responsibility for settling the publication fee rests with the authors according to their own arrangements.

Waivers and Discounts

The Editorial Board may consider requests for a full or partial waiver or reduction of the publication fee in exceptional circumstances and at its discretion.

Requests for fee waivers or reductions should be submitted to the Editorial Office in a timely manner. Submission of a waiver request does not guarantee approval.

Transparency and Editorial Independence

Qurina Scientific Journal confirms that publication fees do not influence the scientific evaluation of manuscripts or editorial and peer-review decisions.

Manuscripts are accepted or rejected based on scientific quality, originality, significance, methodological soundness, and relevance to the journal's scope.

The journal will clearly announce any future changes to its publication fees or fee policy on its official website.
