Emotional Sensitivity Among the Hearing Impaired from Their Teachers' Perspective

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the level of emotional sensitivity among the hearing impaired from the point of view of their teachers according to the variables of the study: gender - year of study - age. The study population consisted of (33) a male and female student at the al-jabal center for education and rehabilitation of the deaf and hard of hearing in the city of al-bayda. To achieve the objectives of the study, the abu mansour emotional sensitivity questionnaire 2011, consisting of (18) items, was applied. By collecting data with this tool and analyzing it statistically, the following results were reached: there are no statistically significant differences between the average the hypothesis of the scale and the average of the members of the study population, meaning that they have an average level of emotional sensitivity. There are also no statistically significant differences between deaf males and females in emotional sensitivity. There are no statistically significant differences in the level of emotional sensitivity due to the variable of school year. Likewise, there are no significant differences. The level of emotional sensitivity is statistically attributed to the age variable.
