مقاومة الكوليستين بين البكتيريا المعوية المعزولة من عينات سريرية في مدينة بنغازي

أصبحت الزيادة في أعداد البكتيريا سالبة الغرام المقاومة لمضادات حيوية متعددة مشكلةً رئيسيةً على مستوى العالم. هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم النشاط المضاد للبكتيريا لعقار "الكوليستين" ضد عدوى البكتيريا سالبة الغرام المعزولة من عينات سريرية في مدينة بنغازي. وقد شملت الدراسة 96 ذكراً و70 أنثى، حيث كانت مسحات القيح (128 عينة) هي الأكثر شيوعاً من حيث نمو البكتيريا. وسُجّل أعلى معدل لنمو البكتيريا لدى الفئة العمرية (22-43 عاماً)، تليها الفئة العمرية (44-65 عاماً). ولوحظ أن البكتيريا موجبة الغرام أظهرت حساسية متوسطة تجاه مضاد "الباستيتراسين" الحيوي. ومن شأن الفهم الأفضل لخصائص الحركية الدوائية والديناميكا الدوائية للكوليستين ومشتقه "ميثان سلفونات الكوليستين" أن يتيح تصميم بروتوكولات علاجية مناسبة تضمن تحقيق أقصى درجات الفعالية، مع الحد من السمية والتقليل من فرص نشوء المقاومة البكتيرية وانتشارها.
